Dental Implants

Throughout our lives our teeth are exposed to all sorts of trauma as well as constant wear and tear. From the things we eat to the activities we participate in, there’s a lot of potential for bad things to happen to our pearly whites.

Luckily, whether you’ve had an accident or the tooth in question became decayed to the point that it wasn’t salvageable, there’s a solution for you: dental implants.

What Are Dental Implants?

A dental implant is a metal insert placed in the jawbone in the area where the original tooth used to be. After it is placed and given the proper amount of time to heal, it can be outfitted with a dental prosthesis like a crown. This dental crown will function and look like a real tooth.

No one, not even you, will be able to tell the difference.

Dental Implant Restoration with Drs Chapman & Owens

While our office doesn’t place dental implants, our team is very well-trained in restoring them. The restoration process is when we put replacement teeth on top of dental implants. These replacement teeth include a number of options:

  • Dental crowns: Each crown is a replacement tooth that completely restores your ability to chew and speak well. Your crown is uniquely made to match your other teeth.
  • Bridges: Replacement teeth are nestled into the gap left behind by the teeth you lost. This bridge is secured by crowns that are fitted onto teeth on either side of the gap.
  • Dentures: We can even secure a new set of teeth on dental implants for you. This helps you get an entirely new smile that feels and functions naturally without any slipping or sliding.

We would be happy to discuss your needs and options with you. Our goal is to restore your smile, so you can get back to doing what you do best!

Restoring More Than Just Smiles

When we restore your smile, we are helping to restore your confidence as well as your ability to chew and speak. Call our office for more information on dental implants or to set up a consultation.
